DURATION The programme provides 600 hours of comprehensive training that includes 460 hours of classroom interaction, 96 hours of test and analysis sessions and review classes and 80 hours of special classes for vedic mathematics and Junior Science Olympiad. This programme commences in April 2010 and shall end in February 2012. COURSE STRUCTURE AND FLOW The programme is divided into 3 modules (a module is like a school semester, containing a collections of topics in science and mathematics). By the end of July, the meritorious and desirous students will be trained for Junior Science Olympiad. Vedic mathematics classes will be conducted In order to enable students to improve arithmetical calculations. STUDY MATERIAL Exhaustive and complete module-wise study materials. Testing and Feedback: • 2-3 short objective quizzes to review topics taught in each module. • 2-3 Progressive Evaluation tests (PET’s) in each module. • Model test will be conducted after completion in each module. The students will be provided with evaluated answer sheets and suggestions for improvement. CBSE patterns practice tests will be conducted. The students will be provided with evaluated Answer sheets and suggestions for improvement. • Micro-level analysis would follow each test where a students performance is compared with the average performer in the test as well as the topper of the test. The students would be given information regarding the topics where their performance needs to be improved. • Students shall also be provided five Self-Practice Tests and one Simulator Test for Junior Science Olympiad in each year. STUDENTS DOUBT CLEARING CLASSES (SDCC) In addition to the classroom teaching, the students are free to clarify their doubts from our faculty in SDCC. The students can also clear their doubts from our faculty, with prior appointment. Workshop: Two workshop namely, “What is analytical thinking” and “Orientation towards engineering and medical entrances exams” would be conducted.
