Diagnostic tools-- Perimetry or field charting is a diagnostic procedure, for evaluation of loss of vision of vision in particular areas of the field of vision, which may ocular in glaucoma, optic nerve disease, brain tumors etc. Computerized perimetry allows for accurate and repeatable assessment opf the visual field. FUNDUS photography and fluorescein angiography are important tools for the retina diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and other conditions of the eye. A high-resolution imaging system with 3-D viewing provides unparalleled photograph of the retina to aid the treatment of the diseases, and resolution of the retinal image, the more accurately. Bilas netralaya has recently acquired the first 6-megapixal camera system and 3 D viewing facility which is 1st in eastern India.
